This simulator is a Redifon ex RAF flight trainer and the instrument panel, switches, lights and flight controls all operate correctly. The aircraft can be flown VFR or on instruments even using VOR vectors and ILS approaches. It even has functional radio and navigation equipment. The pilot can choose to go through a 'start engine' checklist or quick start depending on allocated time per flight.

We can use a projector to to provide external cockpit views or monitors mounted on the nose cone. Added to either viewing mode, the cockpit is fitted with hidden surround sound speakers to give realistic engine tone and you can hear and feel the vibration when the landing gear and flaps are deployed. We provide charts, navigation rulers, radio and navigation frequencies for the north of England the enable real time flight planning and we can set the weather for any conditions.
