To give it its correct title, the Sissinghurst Flower Show Society, the club "does exactly what it says on the tin," and shows flowers - lots of 'em!! Not only does the Society exhibit flowers at their regular bashes, but also fruit, vegetables, home cookery and handicrafts. To encourage the children of the local primary school, exhibitions of school artwork are also on display and prizes are awarded for best efforts. (Unfortunately, a few years ago, one enterprising young lad  decided to copy the centrefold of an early "Penthouse" magazine and submit it under the "Largest Melons" category. Whilst it would have easily have won first prize in ANY category, the entry was quickly withdrawn before the show got under way.)

Flower Shows are held three times a year, Spring, Summer and Autumn and judging by the number of categories available, you can grow anything, cook anything, make anything AND stand a better than even chance of winning something...!!

The Society is well organized and has been established for many years. (given the size of the committee - no surprise there.). Membership is growing and as ever, new members are most welcome. As an added bonus to joining, shopping discounts are available to members at the following locations :-
