Whilst they are rarely seen around the place, and Sissinghurst sometimes  looks about as busy as Frittenden after a Saturday lunchtime power cut, people actually do live here as this minor tribute to some of the local residential areas will confirm. It will probably be noted that a few of the names are neither  Streets, Lanes, Avenues nor Closes. One can only guess at the reason - council budget cuts, inability to tell the difference, or were they just long words that wouldn't fit on the sign??? Mind numbing!!!
