The Burton Rambling Club offers walks all the year round to all the beautiful places we are lucky to have on our doorstep as well as further afield - mostly day trips, with the National Forest, the Peak District, Shropshire and other Midland counties within easy reach.

Walks range from easy ambles from a local hostelry to longer half day or full day walks over fields, meadow, moor and occasionally mountain.

We have weekends away and longer holidays, in this country and abroad.

Most walks are circular but we sometimes use local transport to be able to do linear walks.

We meet at Burton Town Hall for all walks and try to economise on transport costs by sharing cars whenever possible.  Passengers will contribute a fixed rate to the driver to cover expenses and running costs.

You will find a very friendly and interesting group of people with whom to enjoy these most basic pleasures of walking and experiencing a variety of landscapes with their forms, colours and fragrances.
