This online form is for enquiring about availability only. To reserve a boat please print this form and post it together with a cheque deposit payable to 'Thames Skiff Hire'

1 BOOKING:
A boat is not booked until the completed booking form and deposit of £160 has been received.
2 BALANCE OF TOTAL HIRE CHARGE
This must be received 5 weeks before the departure date. If the booking is cancelled within these 5 weeks then half the toal amount will be refunded. If the booking is cancelled within 2 weeks the deposit is not refundable
3 DEPOSIT AGAINST DAMAGE
A returnable deposit of £300 is required payable by cash or check on the day of departure.This will be returned by mail less any charge that may arise due to loses breakages or damage to equipment or craft whther accidental or otherwise.
4 EQUIPMENT
Hirers are responsible for reporting and paying for any equipment lost, stolen or broken. Unsuitable substitutes will not be accepted.
5 NAVIGATION
No boat may travel after work or navuigate in tidal waters without prior permission. No boat shall navigate under flood conditions. priority of passage must always be given to working boats, including passenger steamers. INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY LOCKKEEPERS MUST ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED. As a general rule you should always enter a lock after motor craft have entered unless told otherwise by the lockkeeper.
6 REPAIRS
All faults must be reported by telephoning 07767-385056 Every effort will be made to provide assistance as soon as possible. ACCIDENTS: In case of accidents the name of boat, its master owner and witnesses should be taken down. NO LIABILITY SHOULD BE ADMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
7. GENERAL
a) Hirers must take every care not to disturb other rievr users or wildlife. b) Navigation bylaws must be read and obeyed.c) pets are WELCOME but must be kept under control at all times and must not chew the rudder lines! d)NO ALCOHOL (For your own safety). will be consumed onboard and no person who is under the influence of alcohol is by any means to maneuver the boat.
