| We invite you to discover more about what
the Church Family of St Luke's, Lodge Moor can offer you. First of all, we are a partnership of Christians from Anglican, Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed traditions united in our desire to serve the community of Lodge Moor so that all those who live here may know that God loves them. The various activities and services we offer are described in the following pages and we believe that there is something for everyone, from the very young to the elderly, for the single and the married, for the lonely and sick and the healthy. |
Secondly, from these relationships we seek to share our
relationship with God with those who will listen. We believe that a
relationship with God through Jesus brought to life in us by God's Holy
Spirit and underpinned by the teaching of the Bible is the key to a
fulfilled life in this world. There is no promise of health, wealth and happiness, rather a promise of loving companionship, strength and all the other resources needed to cope with the stresses and strains, the joys and heartbreaks of life. Thirdly, we invite you to participate, to join, to commit yourself to this relationship with God and with us, so that together we can reach out even further. |
