The HS125 first flew in 1962 as an executive jet, it was modified and adjusted for RAF use in 1965. The Domine T1 is an advanced navigation trainer. The CC versions of the HS125 aircraft are used for VIP communications. All of the HS125s are powered by Garret Turbofans and the Domine T1s have Viper Turbofans.
