The
Air Training Corps (ATC) is the UK's premier youth organisation
for young people between the ages of 13 and 20. The ATC gives
teenagers from all backgrounds a wide range of opportunities to
participate in a huge variety of activities, from flying to shooting
and sport to parachuting.
The aims of the ATC
are as follows:
- To promote and encourage among
young men and women a practical interest in avaiation and
the Royal Air Force.
- To provide training which will
be useful both in the services and in civilian life.
- To foster the spirit of adventure.
- To develop the qualities of
leadership and good citizenship.
153 Sqn is open on Monday
and Thursday evenings from 7pm until 9:30pm, new members are always
