At a recent wing event 153 (Slough) Squadron Air Training Corps competed against other Air Cadet squadrons from across Oxfordshire and Berkshire in the Thames Valley Wing Field Day.

The cadets from Thames Valley Wing took part in a wide range of competitions including public speaking, leadership, aviation artwork and drill.

Slough squadron achieved overall third place and came second in the drill competition. Flight sergeant Jason Fletcher from Slough Squadron won the award for the best drill Non-commissioned officer in the wing, gaining a maximum of 75 points out of 75.
