Shooting is another activity that is undertaken by air cadets. Cadets have the opportunity to shoot a variety of different rifles including the .22 No 8 and the L98.

Cadets can work towards marksmanship qualifications, which come in four main categories: Squadron marksman, wing marksman, region marksman and corps marksman. Cadets can also obtain the Cadet 100, which is awarded to the 100 best cadet marksmen in the country.
