The Squirrel is used to train helicopter pilots at the Defence Helicopter Flying School, RAF Shawbury. It is therefore
often seen in the black and yellow DHFS markings.
Recognition features
- Two main rotor blades. The chinook is the only RAF aircraft to such baldes.
- It is far longer than any other RAF helicopter
