The Tornado is a very versitile aircraft, ebing able to operate in a wide variety of weather and light conditions. The GR1A is the reconnaissance
version, fitted with powerful cameras. When the Canberra has fully retired it will be the mainstay of the British airbourne reconnaissance fleet. The
variable geometry wings of the Tornado give it the ability to change appearance and fly at lower or higher speeds as required.
