SLOW FOOD EDINBURGH - French Cheese & Wine Evening

with the superb cheeses of Cheesee Peasee and fine wines of Friarwood Fine Wines

This is going to be a very special event. The artisan cheeses will be the personal choice of Cédic Minel owner of Cheesee Peasee and he will give us his reasons for the particular selection and describe each cheese in detail from the hand made production through to the plate. Philippe Larue has chosen suitable top quality French wines to complement the cheeses and here again he will explain his choice and describe the individual wines in great detail. Some of you may know of Cédric's cheeses which are brought in every week from suppliers in France each producing truly excellent cheeses in their class. Cédric concentrates on French cheeses where his expertise lies and can be seen regularly driving his van throughout East Lothian and Edinburgh.
Friarwood Fine Wines is London based but they now have a thriving business in Leith supplying the trade throughout Scotland. Philippe Larue manager of the Scottish operation will give us the benefit of his comprehensive knowledge of French wines.
