DJ Johnny Ringo is Dead 47 year old Johnny Ringo, died at his home at about 6pm on Friday July 1st, from complicated illnesses. The entainer was popularly known for his intelligent pronounications and was described as having similar dj styles to that of the great General Echo. Johnny Ringo is known in the old dancehall school fo such as "Bad bwoy haffi fit", "Push Lady Push", "Pancouth", "Two Lesbians Hitch" "Hot Number", "Highway Robbery". He has over 15 albums to his credit. Back in the days, Johnny Ringo used to Dj on sound systems like Gemini, lees Unlimited, Stereo One, Stereophonic, Volcanoand killamanjaro. The veteran Dj spent most of the 80's in the Us. He returned to Jamaica in the early 90's where he started recording, but soon realised that his era had passed so he started making a living cutting dub plates for sound systems but in Jamaica & abroad. Johnny Ringo is survived by two daughters, four sons and three grand children. Sincere condolences are sent by Small Axe to his family and friends.
