It is situated in the peaceful Village of Dalton It has a great Thai Restaurant and Bar. 7 miles from Annan, 10 miles from Dumfries, 6 miles from Lochmaben, 5 miles from Lockerbie, Wonderful panoramic views over surrounding farmland with enclosed rear garden, off road parking and garage. We are a family run business and you can be assured of a warm welcome. This is an excellent base to explore Dumfries and Galloway with its wonderful sandy beaches on the Solway coast, many excellent family-friendly attractions, historic castles, nature reserves and golf courses Fishing Cycling Walking Water Sports, Bird/Wildlife Watching the list just go's on and on. (Check through the Website for more information). But for those who just want to relax, Smithy Cottage is ideal. The cottage itself has 3 bedrooms, 1st bedroom is a double with an en-suite shower room with French doors leading onto a patio area. The 2nd bedroom is also a double with fitted wardrobes. The 3rd bedroom is a twin. All beds have duvets with freshly laundered covers and sheets and pillowcases are supplied. A cot is available on request. The family bathroom as a Jacuzzi bath, Shower/Steam room and Toilet. There is a fully fitted large kitchen it is fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery for six people. with Electric Cooker/Oven, Fridge/Freezer, Wine Fridge, Washer/Tumble Drier, Dishwasher, Microwave Coffee Maker, kettle, Toaster, Iron and Ironing board. Leading off from the kitchen is the Conservatory with Table and 6 Chairs which leads to the Garden and Patio area for al-fresco dining, Gas BBQ and an outside drying line. Full gas central heating is included in the rental cost. The living room has a modern wall mounted gas fire, T.V., Dab Radio C.D.Player, Freeview/Recorder, DVD Player, Dining table. The furniture is all electric recliners great for relaxing in. |
