Saturady rideout and evening ride to York
This week saw a Saturday rideout to Strawberry fields cafe.
First it was meetup in the Olympia for coffee with Mal and Laura.Nine scoots. Cookie and Victoria, Mivi and Ingy, Sandra and Tony, Kelvin, Derek, Craig and Andy and last but not least Dennis Jacklin.Then to the cafe for bacon sandwiches and tea whilst poor Tony changed his clutch cable. On to York to the river, then went for a drink to the Stone Roses pub and back to the Olympia for another drink.Dennis reckons this will be his final ride as he is emigrating to Spain next week. bon Voyage Dennis!! Next up was a night ride on Tuesday to see our friends at the Inset.10 scoots, Stu, Bob, Craig T, Dave, Barry, Andy, Craig B, picked up the Ingys at Barlby. Derek met us at the Victoria, Kelvin and Dennis followed by car. Weather was drizzly, wind a bit blustery but the Victoria was warm and the lager cold and by the time we came home even the weather had turned pleasant
