National Scooter Rally
Set off Saturday morning 6.10am to meet up with Bob and Angela and Carl at Howden. Me, Craig T, Andy Moughan, Andy Mitchell, Dave M, Shiela, Stuart and Annette, Sandra, the Cookies, Paul MacDonagh and Andy Tucker. Journeyed over the Humber and got to Campsite for 10.00am after initially losing people on route.Nothing new there then. Had a breakfast, went to parts fair and Custom Show, then took scoots back to campsite before meeting other YSA members at the ship pub. We had a rather boisterous time there with beer mats and my thermals. Had a few drinks at various drinking establishments, had a chinkie beforehand, staggered back to the campsite about midnight. The Leeds united element within the club kept all the fellow campers awake till about 2.00am with football anthems much to the embarrassment of some of us. After a hearty breakfast were Shiela ended up being the waitress in order to get any service, we set off home. Breakdowns included Andy Mitchell's new lammy and Bob Hardy's Vespa. Again managed to lose people on the way home. We got back to the Olympia for 2ish whilst poor Andy Mitchell didn't get back till after 5pm due to Recovery problems
