I am a Reader in the Department of Leadership, HRM and Organization,
Kingston Business School. I am also the Course Director for the
MSc in Management
and Business Studies Research, a doctoral
methods training programme designed to meet the Economic and Social
Research Council’s research training guidelines.
My primary research interests
are in the areas of knowledge management and
organizational learning with special reference to cross-cultural knoweldge transfer.
There are four overlapping themes in this work: communities
of practice, knowledge creation, tacit
knowledge, and knowledge transfer.
My main
teaching responsibilities for research methods teaching at masters’
level and doctoral level. I mainly teach
in the areas of knowledge management, organizational learning, and strategic human
resource management, at Kingston Business School. I have
also taught on both research methods and knowledge management topics
at the European Doctoral
School on Knowledge and Management at Copenhagen
Business School and at ESADE, Barcelona.
