Somerbus is a small family owned operator of bus and contract services in the Bristol
and Bath areas. We have been in business since 1988 and now have one of the most modern fleets in the country. Our aim is to provide the best quality and value services in the area.
For information on our bus services, including full timetables and outline maps of each route, click here or use the link above. Easy access for all!
We bought our first wheel-chair accessible Optare Solo
back in 2001 and with regular investment in further new vehicles all of our services are now operated by low emission buses providing quick and easy access for all passengers. A new program of tree planting has been started
by Somerbus to offset our carbon footprint; in excess of 800 trees have been planted in the last few years.
Connecting Communities
Various local authority contracted shopping services are operated through the week, serving
villages around Bath & North East Somerset providing connections to local towns and cities including
the commercial 185 service from Paulton via Midsomer Norton to Trowbridge service each
Thursday, which operates via the town service (782) route as far as Radstock. The 782 also provides a journey to and from Somervale School serving Paulton,
Farrington Gurney, Temple Cloud and Clutton.
A Monday to Friday service from Peasedown to Bath serving the new CircleBath hospital was launched in April 2010 and continues to grow in popularity - see the 175 page for details. The 175
provides a friendly reliable and cheaper alternative to First.
