With the assistance of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission , this cemetery has been identified as Ramleh War Cemetry, Israel. Ramla (formerly Ramleh) is a small town 12 kilometres south-east of Jaffa
Some details from the temporary wooden crosses are visible and these are :
Corporal J WRIGHT, T/14058833 , 1 Coy (GT) Royal Army Service Corps, died 29th February 1948.
Private G N WILSON, 19005410, 1st Bn. Highland Light Infantry, died 22nd February 1948. (Small image)
