"Mary Pearson heiress = Edmund Wilkinson of Broadbank, Briercliffe d 1803/4 they had: #at the time of marriage an Edmund Wilkinson held Monk Hall, Thursden, from the Shuttleworths of Gawthorpe. The Wilkinsons owned the Broadbank estate (located in the bottom of the valley of Thursden) for a period of about 300 years - Broadbank was known as "Wilkinson's"
