2005 Autumn Karate Grading...

On Saturday 15th October 2005 at the Sennen Community Centre members of the Sennen, Marazion and St. Just clubs met for their Autumn assessment and grading sessions. You can Click Here to view the Photos.

Autumn Grading 15th October 2005

The autumn Penwith Mayo Shin Do Karate grading took place as usual at the Sennen Community Centre and was well attended, with many parents and friends taking the opportunity to sit and watch the proceedings.

Karatekas came from clubs at Sennen, Marazion and St Just. First was the junior grading results, then refreshments. Following was the senior grading and results.

At the end of a busy day, the following grades were presented by Penwith Area Coach Clive Double:

Blue Belt was awarded to Amy Kapherr-Diament

Green Belt was awarded to Emma Hosking, Jamie Hooper, Jonathon Kapherr-Diament and Sol Warwick

Orange Belt was awarded to Jonathan Butcher and Emma Jehu

Yellow Belt Two Orange Tags was awarded to Aiden Jehu

Yellow Belt One Orange Tag was awarded to Sophie Tidey

White Belt Three Yellow Tags was awarded to Greg Rowe and Harvey Rowe

White Belt Two Yellow Tags was awarded to James Ley, Zoe Ley and James Kettlewell

White Belt One Yellow Tag was awarded to William Hosking and Shaun Wood.

The judging panel were Black Belts: Clint Hosking (3rd Dan), Lauren Double (2nd Dan), Dave Warwick (1st Dan), Luke Jackson (1st Dan) and Andrew Symons.

Clive was very pleased with the standard of karate and thanked everyone for coming along and showing off their skills so well and enthusiastically.

Next grading will be February 2006 so keep training and improving - see you then everyone!
