Junior Classes ...

Get Started... Don't Hesitate to bring your child or children to a Club Session. Mayo Shin Do Clubs are small, non-intimidating and you will find that the junior practitioners are very respectful and easy-going!

Unfit?... If your child is suffering from any physical ailments or he/she is physically unfit, don't worry, Mayo Shin Do is a gentle art and the instructor will accomodate your child into the class. Just let the instructor know of your child's condition either over the phone or at the class. Sennen Club JuniorsYou can call the instructor first if you wish, or just come along to watch or join in.

Here everyone starts as beginners. All are welcome, both juniors and seniors, fit or unfit, young or old.

What to wear?... Don't forget to bring some loose, comfortable clothing to start with. You will be taught to your need. There will be no aggressive sparring. We train to improve, not to compete.

Just turn up!... To Start Mayo Shin Do, turn up at a club, or call Clive (Sennen & Instructor Clive Double with a Junior KaratekaSt Just Clubs) on: 01736 871664 or call Clinton (Marazion Club) on: 01736 710296

Parents can join in or watch!... Parents are welcome to join a junior class with a child. Alternatively you can watch, or you can leave your child (it is recommended that a parent stay to watch in the very first lesson).

What to wear?... You don't need a Karate Suit when you start, just turn up and bring some loose comfortable clothing.Junior Karatekas tuck-in on Grading Day!Jogging Bottoms and a T-Shirt will do to start. You can order a Karate Suit from your instructor later if you wish. We normally train bare foot, but if you have problems with your feet, bring a pair of thin soled plimsoles.
