I am Mark Toner, a fully qualified astronomer. I have an MPhil from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc from the University of Glasgow and I graduated my PhD from Glasgow on 2nd July 2005.

I've been teaching since 1986. I currently teach Astronomy to students of the New Curiosity Shop College of Online Learning and occasionally help out at the University of Glasgow. My particular field of interest is in finding what gamma-ray and neutron emissions can tell us about solar flares.
