Services
Delivering training for IT, Numeracy, Literacy and Personal Development can be difficult areas. So often the training fails because the trainer doesn't understand the client's needs and fails to 'get the message across.' I offer a wealth of experience, a calm and happy disposition and know that learners I work with benefit from my experience and empathetic approach.
I have considerable experience delivering training to college students, 16 to 18 year-old government funded learners, New Deal clients, mature students and private sector clients, and have experience working with dyslexic learners and those with learning difficulties, social and domestic problems.
Feel free to contact me at any time to discuss your training needs.
IT Training
Since relocating to Glasgow from London in May 2004, I have delivered IT Training with numerous quality training providers, including Rathbone Training, MB Education & Development and Protocol Skills.
I have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft packages: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook, and have tailored training for absolute beginners to experienced clients.
Furthermore, I have developed and delivered training for CLAIT, City & Guilds, OCR, NVQ and ECDL qualifications.
Most of all, I know that IT Training needs to be fun!
Numeracy and Literacy
Teaching Numeracy and Literacy skills can be a difficult area. I am very much a 'hands-on' trainer and know that the learners I work with benefit from my experience and empathetic approach. I like to use a combination of all teaching methods and resources to stimulate the learner.

Life Skills
Teaching Life Skills can be a difficult and challenging area. Without a doubt, the first hurdle is simply to engage learners and you cannot do this if you do not understand them. I use a multitude of training techniques and employ my experience and empathetic approach to stimulate and reengage these youngsters.
