Originated from Axminster in Devon, and had ridden through the novice ranks along with
his brother Glynn and had been a regular at the Lew Coffin training school. He had
impressed from outings at Plymouth and second half rides at Exeter which earnt him a
chance at reserve berth for the falcons in 18972. Clearly found the going tough scoring
five points from 17 rides in 7 matches.

Pats name often led people to believe he was an Irish rider, but in fact he hailed from
London. His extravagant style of riding made him one of my personal favourites as a lad
in the early sixtie's and it surprises me he only spent one season at Exeter. Joined from
Plymouth and appeared in 22 matches for the Falcons scoring 38 plus eleven Bonus. Aslo
turned out for two matches in 1965 scoring 8 from 6 rides. Started out in 1947 after being
demobbed and was a Harringay Junior in 1948.

Rob was introduced into the Falcons line up halfway through the 1988 season following
Exeter's poor performances. He was eager to team up with his old team mate from the
Kings Lynn camp, Richard Green who had also joined Exeter that year. Perhaps Rob was
a little to eager for he was to suffer concussion and a broken nose in his debut ride
at Glasgow. Rob appeared in 16 matches and averaged 4.27, his best a 9 plus 2 at
Long Eaton.

Born october 25, 1964 in Ledbury, Paul joined Exeter in 1992, and from nineteen matches
he averaged 7.52. Walked out before the start of the 93 season over the pay scale,s but
was back a short while after. Was given the Skippers role in 1994 after the departure of
G.Kennett, and despite a broken wrist in May, he topped the scores
for Exeter on 7.66, and in 1995 he averaged 6.53. Had his fair share of knocks in the 96
season but still proved a good middle order rider and ended up on a 5.96 average from his
36 meetings for the Falcons.

Paul was brought into the side ahead of Roger Lobb in 1997 to fit in with the points
limit. But disaster struck at Skegness and Paul sustained injuries that kept him out for
the rest of the season after only seven appearances. Later re-emerged into the newly
formed Western Warriors team in a bid to regain his team
place but gradually drifted out of the speedway scene. From those seven meetings he
averaged 2.86
