Swedish rider Gunnar was allocated to Exeter in 1967, and in a brief spell at the County
Ground he was to average 8.21 from his 18 appearances as a Falcon and even captured the
"Silver Sash" from Gote Nordin of Poole. In 1966 he had helped Njudungarna win promotion
to the Swedish 1st Division nd had finished ninth in the Swedish Finals of the World
Championship. Was due to ride for Glasgow in 1968 but decided to remain at home

Born in Hereford,on March 23 1976, he actually began his career with the Deven "Demons",
Exeter's only conference League side, and came through the recommondation of former
Swindon boss Jed Stone. In 2001 he averaged 5.02 from his 23 meetings, whilst in 2002
he edged himself into the full team and repaid the Falcons with an average of 6.58 from
41 meetings. He was ever present in the 2003 team and appeared in all Exeter's 48 matches
when he averaged 5.82. There was no room with the Falcons in 2004 owing to the points
limit and Krister moved to the I.O.W.

Alan moved to the County Ground midway through the 1986 season having left Newcastle
and was to appear in 15 matches for Exeter to average 5.28. He had surrendered his
racing licence upon leaving Newcastle and it was several weeks before his made his debut
against Boston with a paid 8. Appered in only 5 matches at the begining of 1987 when he
asked to be dropped to sort out his equiptment. However, when he failed
to answer an SOS from the team because of injuries, he was axed from the side

Tony made his first appearance in 1986 appearing in 12 meetings for Exeter that
season and averaging 4.34. The following season his averaged dipped to 3.77 from 21,
and after 16 matches in 1988, his form dipped still further and he w.s eventually
dropped from the team with the injection of new faces to the side such as Richard
Green and Steve Regaling and the ever improving Peter Jeffery. During those 16 matches
of 1988 he was averaging 2.90.

Born in Christchurch, New Zealand on October 4th, 1939, Ivan was to steer
the Falcon's to their one and only B.League championship in 1974 after he
was ordered to leave B.Vue by the Rider control Committee. Such was his impact that
he finished his openeing season on an average of 11.29 from 26 matches and his debut
brought a crowd of over 10,000 spectators flocking to the County Ground. Left at the
end of the 1977 season but made a return in 1984 when he only appeared in home matches
owing to commitments elsewhere. read more

Born in Adelaide, Australia on May, 28th 1951, Robert had joined the Exeter
camp on loan from Belle Vue to boost their entry into the National
League in 1980. In his first season he topped the Exeter averages with 9.09
and was top again in 1981 with 9.07 from 34 despite a lay off through rib injuries.
In 1982 he was at Ellesmere Port but returned in 1983 when he averaged 7.88 from 36.
He was in the Exeter side that returned to the B.League in 84 and averaged 5.05 from 39
and in 1985 it went back to 7.74 from 36 on Exeter's return to the N.League.

Charlie joined Exeter from Cardiff in 1953 and made his debut at Swindon in June,
where he managed only three points fot the Falcons despite being slotted in as the
No1 rider that evening and scored 8pts on his home debut against Oxford. Ironically,
he scored 10pts away at Southampton in the final meeting of the season and obviously
liked the track as he switched to ride there for the 1954 season. In his one season
with Exeter he was to total 100 pts from his 22 appearances in the "Falcon's" vest.

Maury joined in May of 1964 following the closure of the Sunderland track having been at
Rayleigh during the 63 season. An experienced rider, he had been drafted into the side
to replace len Silver who had taken up promoting at Hackney but only managed 15 meetings
before a spill put him out of the side for the remainder of the season. He had scored 78
points from 15 meetings before the accident. Returned in 1965 and averaged 3.59 from 27.

Bob had been seen as an good prospect, following his outstanding form in his
native home, Australia where he had won the Australian Junior Championship in Sydney.
He had previously tried to break into speedway in England before,
but unable to get a team spot he ended up as mechanic with Wembley. Following a bad knee
injury, Bob was to only made ten appearances for Southern League Exeter, managing but
11 pts, his whereabouts after that are unknown

Born on November 11th, 1964 in Newent Gloucestershire ,Keith was signed at the age of
sixteen following his success on the grass track. During 1981 he appeared in 18 matches
and averaged 4.30. Proved something of a sensation in 1982 when he was ever present to average
8.18 from 38 and became the youngest rider to total 400 League points. Found the move up to B.L
racing with Exeter in 1984 a bit difficult and mid season was loaned out to Peterborough. In
the 1983 season he won the British Junior Championship, beating Simon Cross in a run off after
they had tied on thirteen points.

Ted had first ridden for Exeter in the early stages of 1947, before a serious leg injury
had kept him out of the sport for a long time. Rejoined for the 1950 season and was at the the
County Ground in 1951, though where he went after that is unknown. He had made a total of 70
appearances for the Falcons and totalled 265 points.

Born in London on June 19th, 1968, Ray had been a long serving member of the Isle of Wight
set up where he was to average highly and had been there since 1998 apart from a brief spell
at Hull. Was initially in the Poole line up for the begining of the 2005 season, but was then to
switch to the County Ground to replace Kolenko who had left the team suddenly. and despite a reoccuring injury,
he eant a respectable 8.17 average from hos total of 18 meetings for the Falcons.

Australian Geoff had retired from the sport in 1972, but was coaxed
back by Newport in 1974. Prior to that, he had been crowned
Australian Long Track champion in 1959, was runner up in the 1968 World Pairs
Final with Ray Wilson, appeared in 13 test matches with the Overseas side
(scoring 113 pts) and represented England in Ice Racing in 1960. Geoff came to Exeter in 1975 and averaged 4.97 that year having appeared in 39
matches for the Falcons whilst in 1976 he appeared in just 10 matches and was on a 4.86
average

Joined Exeter in 1947 after getting his experience at the Rye House training track and made
his debut at home against Plymouth on July 7th, only to fracture his thumb and then top scored the
following week with ten at Plymouth. A string of niggling injuries in 1948 led to Johnny
being loaned out to Bristol in May of that year, but was back at the County Ground by August.
Remained in the side through 1949 but was given a free transfer in June of 1950. He had made
99 appearances for Exeter and totalled 361 points.
