Upton & Kexby Indoor Bowls Club

Annual general meeting held on Thursday 11th September 2008 at 7:30PM. in the Village Hall.

There were 9 members present.

The 2007 minutes were read and accepted, with no matters arising.

Chairman’s report, he thanked all who had helped in the past year, as it had been a very friendly season and hoped we would continue in the same way.  HE also stated we could do with a few more members.

Treasurers report, he stated that we are in a sound situation with a sleight profit on last season, as we had very little expenses, but not to be too complacent as we may have to renew some equipment in the future. 

Election of Officers for the coming year.  Chairman, Mike Robinson.  Secretary, Pete Rushton.  Treasurer, Pat Fotheringham. Comp. Sec., Keith Woofinden.  Catering, Janet Moden and Dawn Fretwell. 

A.O.B.  It was decided to keep the subs. The same as last year i.e. £5.00 adult, £2.50 senior/junior, with a playing fee of £2 & £1 respectively.  It was also agreed to increase the amount to caterer due to the cost of food.
