The pair were back in action today after weeks of rest and recuperation for Oscar. Aston Le Walls was the venue for Oscar's come back and he, & Richard, came back in style! The pair finished only their 4th event on the podium in a brilliant 3rd place. An accident while SJ training means that Oscar is out of action for at least 6 weeks. Although not seriously injured, swelling in a rear leg needs treatment and box rest. However, the vet is confident that Oscar will make a full recovery. Richard is devastated and has to cancel competition entries, but he realises that Oscar's future is more important than any short term goals.

Spotless Vision Eventing would not exist if it wasn’t for the generosity and foresight of the owners; for this we are eternally grateful. Here’s a brief introduction, in no particular order, to the team that form the backbone of Spotless Vision Eventing:

Janette and Aldo
This globe trotting pair is based near to London, but are often found on the Riviera, or northern Italy, more recently Aldo has enlarged his empire towards the Black Sea and into Bulgaria. Janette is the driving force behind the couples Spotless Vision involvement, but Aldo, a canny investor, knows a good thing when he sees one.

Caroline and Derek
Caroline must take most of the credit for making Spotless Vision Eventing happen; she saw the potential in Oscar right from the very start and gave Richard all the encouragement that he needed. Caroline is also a very talented horse-woman and regularly takes the honours in local area dressage tests. Derek was also enamoured with Oscar and as we know; behind every great women….

Christine and David
Christine pulled out all the stops to make Spotless Vision Eventing a reality; she was busy behind the scenes banishing any doubts that arose. David a keen horse follower, never misses a good wager and he will be the first to celebrate when Oscar enters the winner’s enclosure.
