3rd Ashford Scout Group.
Registered on the 14th May 1959, meeting in the church hall, St. Matthew's Church, Ashford. New H.Q., Jaggin Base, near the Fordbridge roundabout in Ashford opened 11th November 1972 by Mrs B. Willmore and Mrs S Taylor, daughters of the Rev. V.M.V. Jaggin. During the building of the H.Q., the chief fundraiser and base warden was Mr. Alan Barratt and the clerk of works was Mr. Alan Steele.
