The original H.Q. the Congregational School Room, Clarendon Road, Ashford. In 1928 a Mr. C. Rodgers was in charge. Many of the Rover Crew sadly lost their lives in the Second World War and the Troop's fortunes fluctuated, winning the Childers Campercraft Competion 1950 but having to close down in 1952.
The Cub Pack continued to operate, run by Mrs. Eleanor Altria at the 7th Ashford H.Q. Her husband, Mr. Len Altria, ran the 7th Ashford Group at the same time. In 1955 the Troop was restarted by Mr. Parker and the Pack returned to it's old home at "The Den".
The group moved into their present H.Q., "Jaggin Base", on November 11th 1972. The H.Q. was opened by Mrs. B. Williams and Mrs. S. Taylor, daughters of the late Rev. V.M.V. Jaggin. During the building, the Clerk of Works was Alan Steele and the building dedicated to Alan Barrett.
