Updated where needed on 09/09/02...Updated where needed on the 17/01/2004

Dear Friend,

May I take the opportunity of welcoming your enquiry for Information on the GBTEN Chapter of 10/10 International.

To join the Chapter we ask that you submit proof of paid up membership in 10/10 International and, at least 3,000 GBTEN upgrade points collected on the ten metre band using any mode your licence permits you to operate on.

We hold our nets, propagation permitting, with the Roman Invasion and Laurel Mancunium Chapters. Our net times are 14.00 Zulu on Sundays on 28.860 Mhz during our winter and summer. We also hold a smaller net on a Thursday at the same time but on a frequency of 28.870 +/- QRM.

We offer a certificate to accompany our Chapter. It is a two colour design printed onto a parchment-looking heavy paper. The design incorporates sections to append the first eight of our upgrade seals. You may, if you so desire, elect to join the Chapter on a number only basis.

Most sections of our programme have worksheets available for your use for those without computer logging systems. Those using commercially available programmes may use the printouts these programmes produce for submitting initial applications and most upgrades.

Full details of our programmes are available on information sheets either via E-Mail or regular mail from the CM at the address printed below. Programme information sheets and up to minute news may be found on our hosting Web site at http://www.raynet-forestheath.info When the opening page is shown you need to follow the dancing "Ten Cats" to our section of the site.

The cost of joining our Chapter, together with the certificate and the 8 seals is $4. A number only is available and the cost is $2.00. This is for return postage only as our joining pack contains several sheets of info. The above costs are for DX entries only. For members within Europe the cost is $2.00 to cover a lower postage rate.

The Chapter also accepts applications and upgrades via E-mail on a number only basis at no charge. I normally send out the initial information via E-mail containing a zipped file containing Programme and any worksheets that you need. If you cannot handle a zipped up file then I can send them as separate file attachments.

Thank you again for your enquiry. We look forward to the pleasure of your company in the GBTEN Chapter of 10/10 International.

My E Mail address is: gbten@globalnet.co.uk All the very best. 73 de Dave CM.
