Information dated 15th Aug 2009

 Following a recent chat via land line with John, G3RRM the Certificate manager of the Roman Invasion Chapter of 10/10 he has sadly decided that because of ill health and the passage of time, he no longer feels able to continue as Chapter Head/Certificate manager of the Roman Invasion Chapter...
After consulting with his son David, G4PDR who, with an ever increasing workload he too, can no longer continue with his duties of CM for the Milennium VIP chapter...
At the moment, John, still has all the records, on paper, but, he will be disposing of all records shortly..
John would like to thank all members of the two chapters but feels that now, whilst the band as poor as it is, is the time to close the Chapters and move on...
He has asked me to write to you explaning his reasons and wishes you all the best for the future...
I spoke with Cliff at the Convention and outlined the situation and reasons and I understand that he has started to remove Chapter info from various databases..

Information wie das CAR Seal schneller gearbeitet werden kann......
Um das CAR Seal (Counties und Regions) zu erfüllen müssen 3 Stück von jedem Buchstaben gearbeitet werden, z.B. Buchstabe "A" 3 Stück, Buchstabe "B" 3 Stück und so weiter. Diese Buchstaben werden mit den WACS und WAFS Seals ausgegeben. Bitte die Buchstaben der beiden Seals nicht miteinander vertauschen.

Bitte beachten: Hat ein Seal 2 Buchstaben, z.B. WACS Seal# 100WA, so können beide Buchstaben eingesetzt werden. Das heißt sowohl der Buch- stabe "A" als auch der Buchstabe "B" können eingesetzt werden. Gleiches gilt auch für WAFS Seals. Haben sie z.B. WAFS Seal #101PL gesammelt, so kann auch hier der Buchstabe "P" und auch der Buchstabe "L" eingesetzt werden.

Sie benötigen jeweils 3 jedes Buchstabens (3x26) von beiden WACS und WAFS Seals um das CAR Programm zu vollenden. Ich habe einige Worksheets erhalten wo nur der erste Buchstabe benutzt wurde... Bitte beide Buchstaben benutzen für das CAR Programm ein- setzen.

Information on how to obtain your CAR seal
..(Quicker...............!)
In order to receive the CAR seal (Counties and Regions) you need to collect 3 of each of the letters issued with the WACs and WAFS seals...ie: 3 letter "A" 3 letter "B" and so on from both seals...Please do not mix the seals up!...
Please Note: Both seal letters are valid for this upgrade!...If you have collected, say WACS seal # 100WA both letters are valid..You would count the letters as one "W" and one "A"
The same with the WAFS, both letters are valid.. If you have collected WAFS seal #101PL then you have one letter P and one letter Lima..Both letters count... You only need 3 of each letter (3x26) from both the WACS and WAFS seals to complete the CAR Programme..
I have received a couple of worksheets where only the first letter has been counted.. Please count both letters for this upgrade Programme..

 Entries are now being accepted for the January 2008 Special.
It's based on the same idea as the January 2005/6/7 specials but with a different set of questions and a much easier way to answer the questions and to submit your entries.

The January Special has now been completed and closed.

 Ab dem 23.April 2007 muessen alle Mitglieder die den GBTEN Scarlet Pimpernel gearbeitet haben diesen innerhalb von 28 Tagen danach an den Manager eingereicht haben um den Bonus zu erhalten. Spaeter eingereichte Scarlet Pimpernels koennen nicht mehr beruecksichtigt werden. Dies macht es schneller und einfacher fuer den Manager diesen Teil des Programms zu bearbeiten.

 Would all GBTEN members please note that the Chapter has now issued 99 CAR (Counties and Regions) seals.. It therefore follows that once #101 is issued it will be possible to have collected 100 seals and to have had your own CAR seal used 100 times...( Cannot "collect" your own CAR seal!) Hi.. Wonder who will receive CAR seal #100 and then, when #101 has been issued, to have worked and had it used 100 times?? Quite a few members have already had their CAR seals used 100 times (see your last upgrade summary sheet for your exact number) Plans are being placed in motion for the next stage, once the first member hits 100 of each collected and used !!!

 " Thanks to Henry DL8YBM for providing German language translations for the Catch22 and the Trainers and Jockeys upgrade Programmes... With these translations the whole Catch22 and Trainer Programmes are now available in the German language and translated versions of the worksheets will be sent out to our German members once they have qualified for these Programmes.."

 Hi to all! If any German speaking members of the GBTEN Chapter working on the Catch22 or the Trainer and Jockey Programmes would prefer a German language translation of the worksheets or Info sheets please contact the CM for a copy...

As and when our German speaking members reach this stage/these stages, of our Programme, the translated versions will automatically be provided...

UEBERSETZUNG DES ENGLISCHEN TEXTES: Falls deutschsprechende Mitglieder des GB-TEN Chapters welche bereits am Catch22 oder TRAINER und JOCKEY Programm arbeiten, lieber Worksheets in deutscher Sprache haben mochten, so sollen sie sich an den Diplommanger G4KHF wenden und er wird ihnen diese Worksheets in deutscher Sprache zusenden diese Programmteile des GB-TEN Chapters erreicht (Catch22 bei 22,000 oder mehr Punkten) so wird der CM automatisch die deutsprachigen Worksheets Cber-senden...   • World Cup Football (2006)

 This year 2006 Germany is the host country for the Football World Cup Championship.
From the 1st of January until the 31st of May 2006 all upgrading and new members will be asked ro pick a country from a list of participating nations.
The games start in June and close in July.

 "All GBTEN members please note that Seal numbers WILL after all be issued for the MESACON Convention next week when you sign in at the GBTEN Table.
All members please note that Seal numbers WILL now also be issued Retrospectively for the SANCON Convention.
However, their use will be restricted to the NEW Stars and Stripes Programme only! They Have No Other Value, Or Use!

  • Scarlet Pimpernels at large!

Information dated 1st May 2005

 There will be two Scarlet Pimpernels available during the second half of the month of May 2005. They will both be mobile so please look out for them as, together, extra points will be available when reported to your CM as a matched pair!
In addition to the two Scarlet Pimpernels mentioned above, listen out for an additional two of them during the Convention Week itself. Report the two together and claim your extra points. They will be valid on the Sunday the convention closes up to midnight Zulu.
