GBTEN Chapter's Domain Name

From the beginning of February 2004, the GBTEN chapter has enjoyed the status of it's own unique domain name, (www.gbten.org.uk) This address supplements the main URL of the Raynet Website and gives members the option to link in direct to the GBTEN section front page.

Know Britain Special (2005)
Information dated 3rd Nov 2004
Your CM is now taking reservations for the January 2005 Special. Specials are due to be released around Christmas time. To be included please send your request to the CM. The Theme is based on "How well do you know Britain?" (Subject to any last minute changes!)
Paperchasers, and/or their club stations who are not members of the Chapter can now receive an instant membership number and on-air points with a single contact with either G4KHF (CM) or G4BLH. This special offer is available during the months of November and December 2004.

WACS - WAFS and CAR Seals

Would members bear in mind that, when submitting these seals, credit can only be given if correct seal/callsign details are supplied. Catch 22 Upgrade (2004)
Information dated 4th Apr 2004
The present requirement for the Catch22 upgrade has now been amended. Members working on this upgrade Programme may now use your own Racecourse and Racehorse numbers to complete our worksheets. This will now bring the upgrade requirements into line with the Trainer and Jockey Programme where it has always been possible to use your own Trainer and Jockey numbers to complete the worksheet. We hope that this will prove to be of help to all members working on this upgrade Programme.

Rainbow Special

Reservations for the January 2004 Rainbow special are now being taken.

Bactrac Programme (revised)

The Bactrac programme guides have now been amended from 3 sections to 2 sections. This will make it easier for members and your CM to administer. Information on this change will be shown the next time you submit a part or, if you wish, may be obtained direct from your CM.

San Antonio Convention

Would all members please note that the Chapter did not issue a Convention Seal at the 2003 San Antonio Convention.
In place of a seal, all members who checked in with us, including the New members, were awarded 200 GBTEN points.
Therefore there is not a collectable seal to look out for this time.
Scarlet Pimpernels

The info I need is the Callsign and Date worked of each one please.

Catch22 - they're off!

Members working on the Catch22 Programme can now use up to 2 Wild Cards to complete their entries. Look out for Trainer and Jockey numbers now being issued. The continuation Programme for those who have finished the Catch22 upgrade was distributed on the weekend of the 21st June.. Full information is on the worksheets issued for this Programme.
Scarlet Pimpernel revisited
Information dated 2nd Feb 2003
During February there will be several Scarlet Pimpernels issued. Collect as
many as you can but please, do not submit any of them for credit before the
first of March.
On the first of March, on this site, you will find a link to questions you
will be asked to answer. Answer these questions correctly to gain extra
credit.
February 14th. With effect from the 2nd February 2003, members chosen to act as Scarlet Pimpernels will also receive the 10 points to match the collectable values other members receive when turning them in for credit.
Further information will be posted from time to time on other 10/10 related
group sites!

The Bactrac Programme
Information Dated 13th Apr 2002
This upgrade programme is in three parts.
To qualify, you will need to have collected 100 WACS and 100 WAFS seals
and also have had your own WACS and WAFS seals collected and used 100 times.
Your CM has a list of members who have already qualified and he will be
contacting those members shortly.
Snooker Challenge

Would all members working on their 4K Challenge Game of Snooker please note the following details.
There is only one GBTEN member with a Membership Certificate dated 01/01/01, the 1st January 2001. Find this one member and use it as 3 separate Red Ball,1 pt contacts in the section where you need to find the 1 point contacts. Full information is on the
worksheet for this one. This one contact now counts as three
separate entries for you! Work this one, and claim it as 3 contacts!

Catch22 Programme

This upgrade programme is only available to those members
with point values of 22,000 or more. Worksheets are issued by the CM for
this programme and you must use them or your own versions with similar
configurations, to submit your entries. There are three parts to this
upgrade and you must use each part in the order that they are issued to you.
Convention Seals closing

Please note that the Wichita and Alcon Convention seals will be withdrawn from the 30th April 2002. All outstanding claims must be received by this date in order to receive credit.
