Stable
Cottage is on Crab Tree Farm, on the outskirts of the little
village of Dorsington.
From the North South and West
Follow the A46 to Bidford on Avon.
After leaving
the A46 and entering Bidford turn right at the roundabout, towards
Honeybourne.
Cross the traffic lights and the narrow bridge, then after half
a mile take the left turn at the first set of crossroads towards
Welford.
You pass through the small hamlet of Barton, then about half
a mile further on you need to turn right for Dorsington.
Follow the windy road through the village, then after the road
straightens look out for the driveway to Crabtree Farm on your
right-hand side.
Turn up the driveway, and Stable Cottage is ahead of you on
the left. Either park here, or continue a little further to
the farmyard and knock on the farmhouse door.
From
the South East and East
From Stratford upon Avon follow the B439 Evesham Road out of
town.
About four miles after leaving Stratford the road turns sharply
left. At this point take the left turn into the village of Welford.
Drive into the village, then immediately after passing the maypole
on your left side, turn right towards Barton.
Follow the road up the steep hill in front of you, then just
over the crest take the left turn towards Dorsington.
Continue along the lane for about a mile and a half into the
village of Dorsington.
You will arrive at a T junction with the village church on your
left. Turn left here, and follow the road through some more
windy bends and out of the village.
After
the road straightens look out for the driveway to Crab Tree
Farm on your right-hand side.
Turn up the driveway, and Stable Cottage is ahead of you on
the left. Either park here, or continue a little further to
the farmyard and knock on the farmhouse door.
