Stacey & Argentto at Addington

ARGENTTO CONTINUES HIS GREAT FORM

Drawn fairly early to go in a class of just over 100, Stacey & Argentto jumped clear in the first round of the Joshua Jones Blue Chip Discovery qualifier. Only 16 in total made it through to the jumpoff, where 8 qualifying places were on offer. 4th to go in the jumpoff Stacey turned up to the fences tight, but an unfortuate pole fell on the way, however only 2 horses jumped double clear, and having set a fast time the pair finished a creditable 4th place to book their place in the final.

ARGENTTO SHOWS HIS STUFF

1st to go in the RIHS Winter Novice qualifier, Argentto started the class well by jumping a super clear round. The class was contended by nearly 100 starters and 44 others jumped clear to join Stacey in the jumpoff. Ovalien was unfortunte and just had the last fence down in the first Stacey Nichols & Argentto At Patchettsround. 1st to go in the jumpoff and Stacey had to apply the pressure with so many to follow and only 2 qualifying spots. Once again Argentto jumped a fantastic clear, and plenty made errors chasing the time. Only 11 managed to jump double clear in the end and Stacey and Argentto finished a well deserved 7th place.

STACEY MANAGES TO PULL A DOUBLE WIN OUT OF THE BAG

Both Argentto II & Ovalien grab a win at Lime Kiln Farm EC. Argentto jumped a superb double clear in the Equissage Discovery, and took the class by nearly 4seconds. This was the first time Stacey pushed him against the clock as he now has all of his double clears for 2010. Ovalien jumped the newcomers and won this class by being the only clear in the first round.

CONSISTENCY AT ARENA UK GRAND PRIX SHOW

Stacey & Ovalien in the Foxhunter

Day one started the show well for Stacey and her two horses. Argentto II pulled out his final Discovery double clear and just missed qualifying for the Masters, however this now means he has qualified for the regional finals in 2010. Ovalien jumped an impressive double clear in the very strong-built Foxhunter, but was not fast enough to get into the final. On day two Ovalien jumped a superb round in the 1.15m class narrowly missing the final, finishing an eventual 23rd place - in the money but out of the top qualifying spots.

Argentto pulled out the bag another double clear on day 3, this time in the British Novice giving him his final double clear and also qualifying for the regional finals of this class. Once again he was unfortunately just out of the placings. However day four bought more success when he jumped a double clear in the Discovery again and came 16th - qualifying for the final of this class. Ovalien had one fence down in the Foxhunter earlier on that morning. The final of the Discovery came on the final day of this long week and Argentto showed just how tired he was and had 2 rails down to end the show.

GREAT SUCCESS FOR ARGENTTO II

Stacey had an extremely successful show at Lordbridge Arena. This show being the one and only time Argentto has jumped on grass this year. In both the British Novice and Discovery the pair jumped two very good double clears to come home with two 2nd places.
