Chess for all ages
Local Chess clubs Whatever your standard of play, a warm welcome awaits you at a local club, and with over 30 clubs in the area, you are sure to find one nearby.

Inter-County There is a guide to Inter-County chess (played on Saturday afternoons about once a month).

Junior Chess
Finding a club If you are looking for information on local clubs that help and encourage younger players, you can try either the Junior News page, or the right hand column of the guide to Club Chess.
Junior Congress Staffordshire runs a one day congress in the Autumn, for all players aged under 18.
