Åland Islands
The Åland Islands form an autonomous, demilitarized and unilingually Swedish province of Finland. They are situated in the Baltic Sea between Sweden and Finland and consist of more than 6,500 islands and skerries. The capital and only city in the archipelago is Mariehamn.
