Improvements to the Pool

Thanks to a donation of £2000 from the Wirral Able Child Centre new doors to the pool have been installed and future work will involve widening the access to the Ladies' Changing Room to improve disabled access.

A grant of £7,589 from Awards for All have allowed the Trust to install a chair lift and a hoist to allow disabled access to the poolside and into the pool itself. Accompanied by Norman Procctor, Pool Manager, Stephen Hesford, MP is seen here testing the chair lift.

The Trust is also one of the charities to benefit from the Scout & Guide Charity Post 2008, and received a cheque for £800 at the Presentation evening on Tuesday February 10th. The money goes towards replacing the CPR mannequins, and child safety seats. Details of other recipients can be found here
