Calday Grange Swimming Pool Trust

The trust is a registered charity (No. 1056069), formed in September 1996, by a group of Pool Users, to take over the running of the pool after the Local Authority's decision not to renew its lease. The pool is now on a long term lease to the Trust from Calday Grange Grammar School. The pool is hired out to numerous Groups and Clubs from the local area for various activities as well as being used for primary school and Calday Grammar School sessions.
There are also various training courses held at the pool, RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Course, ASA Assistant and Full Teachers Courses, First Aid at Work, etc.
The Trust’s main aim is to provide the use of Calday Grange Swimming Pool for the benefit of the community, with a majority of pool time allocated to voluntary groups. We do have some Commercial Groups who hire the pool for the provision of swimming lessons solely as a business for those individuals and are not connected or benefit the Trust in  any way.
The pool is now run by the CGST staff, the Trustees, the Management committee, and input from the User Groups
