Thinking of joining a club run?
If you've never ridden with a group before, you may be surprised how much enjoyment it adds to your tandeming!
- You will meet like-minded tandemists and share the pleasures and perils of the road with others.
- Don't worry about the pace being too slow or too fast - you can always wait further up the road or put a few extra miles in!
- All the club rides have at least one long cafe stop where you can get to know other members over several cups of tea.
- If you're unfortunate enough to have a puncture or mechanical problem you can be sure of receiving plenty of helpful advice!
It's always advisable to phone the ride leaders in advance to check the ride is still on, and to let them know where and when to expect you.
