Head West on M8 - cross Erskine Bridge then get to Dumbuck lights. Two options & I'm told by a resident that the Loch Lomond one is best
Take the Loch Lomond road, all the way up past Duck Bay Marina, then take the left towards Glen Fruin (which is signposted Helensburgh), at the mini roundabout take the left signposted to Helensburgh. Follow this road into town, you go down the hill, past Helensbugh Upper Station and will come eventually to West Montrose St. Go right and right along to the end and you will eventually come to the Rugby club on your right hand side.
Alternatively. go left and head through Dumbarton on the A814 - make sure you go left at the Dumbuck lights (the left fork).
Stay on this road all the way through Dumbarton, Cardross until you get to Helensburgh. Stop at the lights at Sinclair St (1st Main set of lights in Helensburgh), go right here and head up the road. The Rugby Ground is signposted to your left, about four streets up. (West Montrose St)

Location, 212 Kirkintilloch Road, Bishopbriggs, G64 2NE.
Getting to Allan Glen's from Cartha is relatively straightforward.
From Cartha, get on to the M77 & M8 going into town (i.e. come out of club, turn left onto Dumbreck Rd
and right onto M77). Cross over Kingston Bridge and head east....
At junction 15 on the M8, i.e the A803, come off and head north towardsSprinburn & Kirkintilloch. Just keep on this road and carry on for about 10 -15 minutes, depending on traffic, out through Springburn, past Colston and through Bishopbriggs. Keep going through Bishopbriggs Cross on the road out to Kirkintilloch, still on the A803. About 3/4 of a mile beyond Bishopbriggs town centre, Allan Glen's is there on the right hand side.... you really can't miss it
Glasgow East play at Barrachnie Park in Mount Vernon. Barrachnie Park is bounded on the North by Ballieston Road and in the East by Mount Vernon Avenue..Getting there from Cartha is "six and two threes" - depending on whether you are familiar with the North or South of the city. My preference is for south side, as it's straightforward & once the M74 is open will be dead easy.
North M8, cross Kingston Bridge, come off at Jn 11 heading toward Queenslie and work your way down Stepps Rd to Edinburgh Rd, go right and immediate left at lights onto Springboig Rd and work your way down to Shettleston Rd. At Shettleston Rd go left and carry on until Shettleston Rd becomes Ballieston Rd. Carry on until the lights at the Barrachnie Arms, just past the Co-op. This is the junction with Mt Vernon Avenue. turn right and park on the right hand side - the park is has no railings and is on the right hand side.
South - make for the M74 thru' Rutherglen - instead of going right onto M74 keep going to the lights and turn right into London Rd. Travel east until you get to Mount Vernon Avenue, which is just before Mount Vernon rail station - you'll see the rail bridge crossing the road and the station in front of you. Turn left into Mount Vernon Ave and travel "north" up the road until you see the park on your left. Park in Mt Vernon Avenue and enter Barrachnie Park . Cambuslang play at Langlea Rd, Cambuslang G72 8HG. Getting there from the club is fairly straightforward, although it's one of these places that everybody has their own way of going to - if anyone has 'definitive' directions, please let me have them. Meantiime here's a link to the Multimap page which also gives suggested directions and which look very much like the route I would follow.
