The Eclipse images were taken by myself and my wife, most especially in Zambia and Libya during the 21st July 2001 and 29th March 2006 total solar eclipses. My Astrophotographs are pictures of the planets taken mainly with my reflector telescope using a web-cam but also with a digital camera.
The rest of the pictures in this gallery are mainly taken from NASA open-access sources. The Planetary gallery shows a number of famous images, plus montages of the major planets. The Mars galleries give some of the best pictures from the Mars Pathfinder mission of July and August 1997 - remember that one?
