Welcome to
 buckle's micro site

Right then, here goes attempt number two at creating a site of my own. Less of a blind leap of faith this time but rather a wary dive into the murky waters of HTML and WYSIWYG. Hopefully, I can work out how to do it so I can start to upload pics, jokes, small 3gp clips and basically any load of old guff that someone might just be interested in!

So here goes...

No idea why anyone would be interested but, my interests include;

Gaming - Bit of a Nintendo fanboy; currently loving Wii (my games are listed here) and also have NES, N64, GameCube, GBA SP, DS, Sega Dreamcast and PS2. If you fancy exchanging Wii friends codes, check out GAMEOV3R.com and look out for Buckle (yep, that's me). You'll have to register first but it's quick, easy and relatively painless, and you can PM me from that site. It's a friendly place with a great forum used by many like minded, mainly older gamers. There's even room for PS3 and 360 users,too!

Mountain biking - when fitness levels permit. I really must get out more (that mind sound familiar to some people...) Thankfully, my broken Gary Fisher Joshua XO, below, has been consigned to the skip...

...and which looked like this after it was stripped down for the bin

...and was eventually replaced by this shining beauty!
A Trek Fuel EX9. The difference is something else, I can tell you.

You'll notice the camera on the handle bars. It's an ATC2K. It's waterproof to a degree and is pretty robust. It records directly to an SD card. Pretty good picture quality too and not to be sniffed at for £80. Check out my blog at 'buckle69's Weblog' for some bike footage and general ramblings about all and sundry...

In addition to gaming and biking, favourites include; The Simpsons; beer; curry; whiskey; and my latest obsession, Texas Hold 'Em poker.

I'll try to update the blog as often as possible so it might be worth checking back every now and then -
