What's new? 15/11/09Hi pop pickers! As our last gig at The Bakers Vaults was so great we're doing another one next Saturday. It's really to cover for some chums of ours who were booked but can't do the gig. So 21/11/09 will go down in history as the last ever proper CTs gig ever ever. No, really. This time it is. Obviously we'll be playing the same tired old shit we've been banging out for an embarrassing number of years, but hopefully with an unjaded nostalgia or possibly even the youthful optimism which once coloured our dainty set. We'll see. There will be lots of flashing lights and probably a couple of guests, so epileptics be warned (about the lights. You should be safe from the guest artistes, but no promises). No starving leopards to throng amongst you (I tried - what a way to go out!), but maybe the mad blonde bint who grabbed a microphone to express her delight at the end of the last gig will be along to treat us to some more quotes from classic English literature. Thanks to Nick Berry for getting up and doing an opening set of CTs classic raves from the past in the original three piece format, and ta to Gentle Jesus John & Josie for coming along and staying the course. John's a very nice man (if a little sweary for my delicate disposition) and we say thanks for everything (except the Bolton gig). There's some video on YouTube somewhere from the evening (including mad blonde bint at the end), plus a "Delilah" and a "Rosie" and something else that I can't remember from The Crown. You'll find it if you want to. My adoring public keep asking me what happens next. Answer? Apart from slutty Furniss and his band of musical tarts I really have no idea. Thanks to all our readers and see you next Saturday. Fanx tara! SVB x. 14/08/09Rumours abound of the demise of The CTs. We'll get to that in a minute. First off, this evening's gig at The Station Hotel in Altrincham is cancelled. We have four drummers to pick from and because Janet is so nice we had the posh one lined up. Sadly he's gone off to Cropredy. Another one's on holiday, another one's got another gig, and the last one's working. We unsuccessfully tried to get a stand-in band organised and hope someone else can be sorted for the evening. Many and big apologies to Janet - it's not The CTs way. Right then. These rumours. Well, they're all true. The CasualTies last gig will be at The Bakers Vaults in Stockport Marketplace on Saturday 7th November 2009 and we'd very much like you to come and clap and sing along in celebration of 23 years of the greatest ever rock band to come from that bit of Edgeley just near Alexandra Park. Why's all this then? Well, there's no new material, there's a lack of will to learn any new covers, a general fed-up-ness with the absence of a regular drummer (although all the ones we use are dead good), a distinct lack of audience at most gigs outside Stockport, and the fact it always rains when we're loading/unloading the gear. No big row, no big fall-out. As someone much more soulful once put it, 'the thrill has gone'. Simples. What happens next? Dunno, but that slack-drawered trollop Furniss has already got himself another gig with some equally (or possibly even tartier) loose ginger strumster. The big (little?) slut. They're called 'The Slappers' or something. Probably. Anyways, I went on that there interweb and found an old video of the original CTs line up playing in what appears to be a gentlemen's convenience sometime in the 18th century. There's a link to it on the 'Lix' page. You can buy lots of Naughty Peter's compositions on the interweb thingy! Link on the 'Lix' page. Corks! He's everywhere! See his myspace page (and Mister Love Pants Furniss' too) from the 'Lynx' page. 26/05/09The Curse of the Ties shuts yet another venue, claiming The Talbot's last live gig last Friday. We say thanks to Michelle for all the gigs and also to Loony Kath and her chums. John's birthday gig gets cancelled. His birthday's still on, but his mother-in-law has decided he doesn't want a band on after all and would be happier with a disco. So (as my chum, Mister Dickie would have it) goes the nation. 06/05/09Couple of gigs at The Crown (Stockport viaduct - when will the glamour end?) and secret private birthday gig added to the gig list. 29/04/09HOT DRUMMER NEWS! I am inundated by an email from my eager correspondent 'Little, Jonathan' from Christchurch. The CTs expert intensive research team notes from Little Jonathan's email address suffix that he is resident in Christchurch New Zealand rather than Christchurch in Dorset (which would be much handier). He writes:- "I don't have any drums, van or experience but would be willing to let you fly me back to England for an audition (plus excessive expenses of course)". I have run your CV past the recruitment selection committee who compliment you on your excellent credentials as the only applicant, but regret to inform you that your application has been unsuccessful. The committee were prepared to turn a blind eye to the absence of equipment, experience, transport, class, proximity to venues etc but felt that your exposure to the antipodean lifestyle and pre-existing reputation for drunken ribaldry might lead to yet further tiffs and squabbles ("it's MY sheep", "I saw it first", "it obviously fancies Arnie" - kind of thing). The CasualTies thank you for your application and wish you success in your career as a witless chancer. Now if you had been ludicrously overfunded... 21/04/09Due to idiocy on the part of the oaf that maintains this nonsense, the gig advertised for this Saturday (25/04/09) at The White Lion Stockport isn't actually on. The one on 16/05/09 however is on. I need to confess (and my, this is painful) that it's not the venue's cock-up. So, sackcloth and ashes for me then. Incidentally, one of our number ran into the landlord from The Griffin in Newton-le-Willows (see rant elsewhere) the other week and we're all kissed and made up now. Which is much nicer. While I'm here I may as well brighten up your dull existence by telling you about the exciting new places we've been lately as part of our rock star jet set lifestyle. We went to The Station Hotel in Altrincham to play for the charming Janet. She maintains a very nice venue with splendid beer and we met some nice people in there. If you went on the train from Stockport at half past eight (costing £1.50 return - about the same as something else very cheap) you'd be in Altrincham at quarter to nine, giving you plenty of time to find a nice hidey-hole in the pub away from the noisy band while you get hammered! There's a train back to Stockport at quarter to twelve which gets you back at five past midnight. Anyway, we're not there again until August but hey, why not put it in your diary now? We've also been to The White Lion in Stockport. Now then, there are many similarities between this and The Station Hotel in Altrincham. Both suffer from a reputation as scally-ridden rat holes. However, both pubs have new licensees who have ejected said scum with a view to attracting nice folk like you and me (well, more like me probably) who won't be skunked off their empty little minds, will drink (un?) healthy volumes of beer, and go home without fighting anybody, into their respective hostelries. The White Lion also has nice beer and a very nice sounding room to play in. The folks who run it are very agreeable too. Fans who came to the gig will bear all this out. As someone once said, "Fanks for comin'" to you all and don't miss the next one in May. For reasons that don't concern you (but largely cruelty based) I was going to take some chums from our gig at The Bakers last Saturday down to watch a bit of 'Jekyll' at The White Lion between sets but apparently they cancelled so my evil plan was thwarted. Bugger. So we had to content ourselves with another splendid night at The Bakers which is probably our spiritual home. We love The Bakers and we love Mister Sam the landlord. We'd like to think he loves us too. More love will be shared in June. Don't miss it! 20/01/09Celebrity guest appearance (not on the stage - he's not daft) by Mister Jumpy from Scouse Franksters 'The Muffin Men' and pop hit combo 'Showbiz Kids' (who may or may not make movies of themselves) at The Bell & Barrel in St Helens gets The CTs all excited (and a bit nervous in some corners). Mister Jumpy pronounces 'great sound last night by the way' in subsequent text message. Probably meant the sound of the door closing behind him as he left. Still, good of him to drop by. It's always nice to see Mister Jumpy who, in addition to being an intimidatingly fine guitar player, is a most charming and erudite gent. Not like that git Rhino who plays the drums and once set his pants on fire in The Thatched House because he couldn't smoke and play the drums at the same time. (Just joking Rhino. Well, except about the pant/conflagration episode). Here's a picture of Rhino looking calm and relaxed, winsome even, which I pinched from the Muffin Men website:- If you run your mouse over it you can see what he's thinking about. Just to be clear however, check this out. Lovely gig, The Bell & Barrel. Nice stage, nice crowd; Got paid, going back. The difference between 'What's new' and 'News' is all getting a little blurred don't you think? That cheeky Mister Jumpy's gone and left some rather frivolous comments on YouTube's Mister Bat Is A Bit Rude video. I have been forced to remind him of the order of things. The cad. 2009 is just about still new. Outstanding performances were delivered by guest artistes on our New years Eve gig at The Bakers Vaults. They're too numerous to name here (they're not actually, I just can't be arsed. And if I did I'd probably miss someone out and they'd get all upset. So stuff it), but you can spot most of them via the enhanced (and now beautifully linked) Pix page. Of particular note was landlord and guest artiste Mister Sam who, in a stagestruck reverie managed to overpay us. We offered it back but he generously refused, knowing it would find its way back into the till via the natural process of things, which indeed it did. Who could have foreseen that? I'll keep trying to fix the site navigation up, but don't hold your breath. I've got a copy of Dreamweaver round here somewhere... Anyway, it's half past seven and I've not had my tea yet. Well, tea was a good idea. Check out my shiny new boxes at the top! If they don't appear just click your browser's 'refresh' button and they'll manifest themselves. By way of an homage to the great man, the pages are occasionally a little jumpy (Mister Jumpy, see? Geddit?) when they load. Anybody got a picture of Stuart Harrison from New Years Eve? If so, send it. Usual rates will be paid. 15/01/09Yes, yes, I know. Stop sending me emails to tell me I've made a bollocks of the navigation bars at the top (or not currently) of the page(s). It's all Arnie's fault for pestering me into putting new pictures on. The git. Anyways, when I've fixed that, you'll learn all about our shiny new gigs at The Station Hotel in Altrincham for the very charming Janet. You'll be able to see if you can find yourself on the pictures from New Years Eve. Stuff like that. Let's see if we can fix this puppy... 18/12/08I've had my cute little tush kicked for being a slacker. Gig page is now up to date. With cancellations. We say a sad bye-bye to Cookie at The George & Dragon in Cheadle (although we hope to see him in the pub at some point) and Colin at The Bell & Barrel in St Helens (have you written to the Home Secretary yet telling him what a git he is?). We say hello however to Shaz at said-same Bell & Barrel in St Helens. She replies 'hello, have some gigs'. We say 'ok, ta'. 23/09/08Somebody's got on my bad side. See news for details.... 16/04/08Some gigs appear. Some gigs disappear. Some venues disappear! There are nevertheless five (count 'em!) opportunities to see your fave wok band in May. Get out! Get biffed! Get down! It's all on the 'News' and 'Gigs' pages with extra added mice so why are you still reading this? 10/04/08Even more new gigs in Holmes Chapel (we have consecutive gigs at different George & Dragons! That'll stuff the satnav) and Stockport. The Crown under the viaduct actually. Come along and fight the world's most refreshed band! I'll fight the lot of you. Except you. You're my best mate, you are. I really love you.... Hic. Best sort a drummer out then. 04/02/08Blimey my little lambs! Gigs fly our way faster than three monkeys in fur coats escaping from an airing cupboard as more and more folks about the north west get hip to the CT trip! New venues for us at The Town Hall Tavern in Eccles (happy now Stu?) and The George & Dragon in Cheadle where me and Lesley Knight didn't used to go all those years ago because her grumpy older sister ("our Wendy") was in there. So we went to The Conway instead which is now The Ryecroft Arms. All I need now is a gig in The Church Inn in Cheadle Hulme to have progressed absolutely nowhere in the last 30 years. There's a band's-eye ("BANZAI!") review from last Saturday's short notice outing to a gig in Bolton. Glass Barrel John might want to read that before ringing me. You owe us matey! Top notch knockers, though. And Peter enjoyed the pies. 29/01/08There is news but I can't bring myself to write it. See news page for absence of detail. And some more gigs. We seem to be getting rather popular in Burnley. Which is convenient. 16/01/08Mithered by my fan Roger I bite the bullet and upload pages with revised gig dates which I updated weeks ago so that you can now read them too and turn up on the right night. He may have a point except that he somewhat foolishly claims to prefer The Rock Doctors to The CTs. The clot. I couldn't find a picture of Roger (although I do have one of his friend Martin) so here's a picture of Van Morrison who looks a bit like Roger with a man styling himself as, believe it or not, "Doctor Rock"!
As a short bespectacled bass player once said, "fame is not the measure of a duck". Nobody listens to him either. 21/12/07Yow! Your super soaraway CTs have a ripsnorting 23 gigs in 2008 already with 15 venues still to contact! Phwoar! Oh yeah, and Happy Christmas to both our fans. 28/11/07A March Bakers gig moves forward into January on account of you, our little fanbase, not being able to wait until March to see us. Well, that and Arnie being in New Zealand (AGAIN!) in March. Apart from that? Well, see the gig list. Can't wait for my phone bill and I'm not even halfway through the venues. We had a very nice time at The Bell & Barrel last Friday. So much so that Peter took some photos of the crowd which will appear on here as soon as he lets me have them. The CTs like to give up-and-coming youngsters a bit of a peg up the leg of the rock and the roll and this evening was no exception. Guest drummer was none other than Stockport whippersnapper Paul Burgess who managed to impress without the aid of either safety net or rehearsal. Ha! You should have seen Arnie sweat! Mister Burgess features in one of the "Mister Bat" videos (a series of 2 - collect 'em!) which you can access via the 'Lix' page. B&B landlord's almost as nice as Glass Barrel John (must be a 'barrel' thing?) and they have very tasty beer and barmaids (I'm told - I never made it to the bar myself, although somewhat paradoxically I did get whacked for a round). More gigs booked at the Bell & Barrel in January and December (!) 2008. High spot of the evening? Being given the keys to a pub (not the B&B) and told to write down whatever we'd helped ourselves to as the landlord was off elsewhere. Now that doesn't happen every day does it? 06/11/07Well, my little loves. I bring you some gigs for next year. I have been reprimanded by our specky-four-eyed git of a bass player for not writing enough about the boy Benn's rhythmic contributions the other week in Northwich, the various practical disasters occurring during the gig that same evening, and for the virtual omission of our Chrissy's trip from his roof to the back garden the quick way. Never mind our headbanging outing to The Bakers last Saturday resulting in four stitches in yours truly's already addled bonce. You want blood? The CasualTies give it. All for you. You undeserving heathens. 24/10/07My God, will it never end? Excellent showing from the boy Pollard depping on drums in Northwich; not so good flying from soundman in Heaton Norris. Yes! That's right kids! Another near-death experience from the most thrill-seeking band in Stockport! And some gigs. 17/08/07Even more gigs added to the list! No proper news so some ramblings instead on 'News' page. 27/07/07Today is my boy's birthday which makes me very happy in one way, but very skint in another. There's new news on the 'News' page, new gigs (ok, gig) on the 'Gigs' page (but at least they're all the right dates now), a new video on the 'Lix' page, and mew (mew??) links on the 'Links' page. Blimey. 10/05/07The soundman, that's what's new. See News page for details. There's a new (albeit brief) gig review too. That's on the Reviews page. Arthur Gibson's new too! Arriving very late (but then his Dad's a drummer) the other week at an eye-watering ten pounds plus, we say "get them in, Dave". 26/03/07Unlike the CasualTies, Mrs Bat has sacked me. Noting the evident pleasure this gave her I thought I'd give it a go. So I sacked my job. Tell you what kids - it's brilliant, but (and this is important) be sure your independent means are secured before undertaking a similar leap. Thus I have been snot-flying pissed for some moons now, rendering me incapable of updating this sorry mess of drivel. Anyways, for reasons that don't concern you, I today rose Lazarus-like from my pit whilst it was still light and thought of you. So I've made up some news and put a couple of gigs on the, er, gig page. Obviously. 09/12/06After a disgracefully long time I find myself embarrassed into updating our creaky old site. Check out the noose for recent, new and forthcoming gigs. Where we've been, where we haven't been, and where the posters went from the last Bakers gig. I've got some pictures too but I can't let you have everything in one go now can I? Ok, just one then. 11/09/06So, after a brief and possibly fateful dalliance with web publishing (see news page if you can be arsed), bumface Furniss has got married. Yup, despite the band's pleas, she wed the old goat anyway. Are these events related? I don't know, but from starting the year as a band of gay (no, No NO! You know what I mean!!) bachelor boys, the CTs will be 50% married men by the end of the year! Who's going down next? Girls, get down to a gig quick and see who looks the most oppressed and make do with the left-overs no other girlies were interested in. More news and pix shortly, but for now, feast your diaries on the newly extended gig list. Note that exhortations from 25/07/06 below have produced a charidee gig at The Glass Barrel. That's if Dad confirmed it while I was on me hols. I tried to help him out, but working email whilst talking on a mobile was all a bit much for the technophobic dolt. Perhaps The Purple Vest or Webby Michael can illuminate? I think it's in October? At least that's what someone's put on the gig list. (That was you - Ed). Why no gigs at The Hollywood Mister Bretty? 25/07/06Oi you! Yes, YOU at The Glass Barrel. Gizza gig you whiskery old bastard. Much love and affection, Henry Kissinger Van Bat. Promise to address writer's block dead soon. Them daleks aren't half as hard as they think they are. 16/05/06As the rumours of Mister Bat's non-demise spread about the nation, the diaries of the masses unfurl to accommodate Beijing and Stockport's premier wok combo. 05/05/06May is upon us like a big hungry bear which can only mean gigs at The Glass Barrel and The Hollywood. Details in the usual place. Apart from that, The Market Tavern in Altrincham has reopened. Apparently Anne-Marie legged it to Prague. I went last Sunday with the band diary, got a couple of gigs (one still tbc) and saw Kick The Kat. Their bass player's smaller than ours, which makes me unhappy. Looks like feet in the meat grinder for Arnie until he is restored as the world's smallest bass player (non freak section). 16/04/06Howdy cats. Just a sly Easter one for you. Don't go to The Market Tavern as it's shut since Mrs Woman dropped all the readies in a swag bag and hot footed it to the great off licence over the hills and far away, stiffing us five gigs in the process. The witch. Anyway, must off and crucify a messiah. Back soon with more twaddle after I've decimated the already emaciated gig page. 23/02/06It was my birthday last Friday (17th seeing as you ask. Many people think I'm much older...). Anyway, I've added a gig at The Hollywood in Edgeley which has recommenced live music on Friday nights. I'm told they have a "strictly no sh*te bands" policy in place but we got asked anyway. If you haven't been before it's a top room to play in so get in there my son (not you, George). 07/02/06Today is my Dad's birthday. He's nearly as old as Arnie. To celebrate, I'm going back to work tomorrow after five months R & R. Great. Two gigs gone from list due to double booking/diary disasters/usual cock-ups but one's already replaced and the other will be soon. Band in frocks pictures should be reinstated on the 'The Band' page (some eejit had deleted them!). Seven (count 'em!) gigs added (the rockin' vicar comes good but we suspect a Wigwam connection - cheers Wiggy!). Customary 'special' poster in production for the Glass Barrel gig (bet you can't wait John. I've seen it - you'll like it. You'll probably want access to a colour copier and some elastic bands). 19/01/06STOP PRESS! Guess what kids? At real short notice, the girly-arsed "Queen Mab" (who are actually not half bad) have cancelled their gig tomorrow night at The Bakers Vaults in Stockport, so guess who's on? That's right Einstein, it's us. Aren't you glad you bookmarked this site now? I really must tell you all about The Pluff in Cadishead last week what with there being a streaker (no, really) and all. But not now as I'm just back from my Thursday session and I'd cock it all up. So soon mes petits. In the meantime, get to The Bakers tomorrow! 07/01/06Festive header banished forever. Got some new gigs to put in the usual place but can't be doing with that right now. Watch this space for details. What else is new? Certainly not Sinful Dr Arson! 14/12/05Due to an unprecedented number of enquiries I am obliged to reveal that the seasonal header is brought to you at the request of that nice Mr Furniss. Especially the little baby Jesus. Click on him for divine inspiration/explanation. The other one's just some drunks but if you click on them you can get a cut-out-and-make reindeer!! How smart is that? 13/12/05Festive felicitations from The CTs to you, our little love cats. Gig and News page updated. 20/10/05As the weather's too crap to go to the lakes today I've been tinkering here at CTs central. Have a video on the Lix page! Nope, I've no idea what it's all about either. Just under 5MB for a minute of Cider, Caravan, and a shopping trolley. I'm definitely taking something off there this week. 16/10/05Muchas gracias to my chum "The Purple Paparazzo" for the following sneaky pic of yours truly from out the back of the CCU in Newcastle the other week. Bad taste? I don't think so...
03/10/05My, what strange times we live in. Where shall we begin? First off, check the gigs page for what's on and what's not, then go to the news page for where we've been, who we met, and what we did at the various gigs and (clue coming up....) A&E departments of the North Staffordshire and Cheshire environs attended since I last occupied your brainspace (creepy thought that, innit?). Some Barnes oriented confusion has hopefully been resolved on the links page. And since you last looked, The CTs became the band who put the "ply" in "parsley". 30/07/05Removed done gigs. Links page now includes Royton Con Club (ok Frazzie?). New gig in September in sweet and sunny Newcastle under Lyme where we'll be bigging it up for the Brymbo hardcore (it says here). Sadly can't do the Old Market Tavern on 14/08/05 (I said I was on me jollies, Arnie) but go anyway and catch Backwater Blues who are covering it for us. Nice beer too. Hic... The splendidly understanding Anne-Marie has given us Sunday 6th November instead, so if, after Saturday night, you find you still need a rocket up your ar*e then scoot along and catch the end of a three-gig weekend. Do you suppose if Riff Raff play on bonfire night they change their name to Rip Rap? If they don't, they should. Just for the night. Don't you think? 25/06/05Removed gigs wot we can't do on 15/07/05 (Bike 'n' Hound - I'm gutted, but hey, someone real close (not to me) is getting married (DON'T DO IT!!!) so there it is) and Thatched House on 12/08/05 (I said I was on holiday, Arnie!). New gig at Royton Con Club (hello Fraz-woman!) in September. Gig review (on the new (!) reviews page) from Thatched House. You want some more (© J Brett)? Then go to the news page. Who knows - maybe some day your name will be in lights....... 28/05/05Last week's gigs at The Railway in Romiley and The Bakers in Stockport removed from list. I'll tell you all about them sometime soon. But not today. 19/05/05Drew, Ollie, Sydney Harbour bridge, and some CTs tshirts are all on the same picture on the pix page. Let's see if our regular correspondent and chum Mr Radcliffe of Philadelphia can top that! A two gig weekend coming up in Romiley and Stockport! 28/04/05Yipes! Right out of the ether, our chum/rock god Johnny Brett from The Blues Blasters comes up with a gig for us the day after tomorrow, AND he's invited us (the band, not you) to his barbie on Sunday. Just exactly how rock 'n' roll is this cat? Details in the obvious place. 09/04/05Nothing's really happened, so unless you really have nothing better to do (and you don't do you, otherwise you wouldn't be here), check out the noose update for 'A' grade meaningless tosh.. 25/03/05Shamefaced, I return to update you, our adoring public, on the goings-on in CasualTie land. I add seven (count 'em) gigs to the list, and I update the news page. So there. 25/02/05Got rid of that stupid crap rolling banner "marquee" thing from here and the gig page that said we were doing all original material at our gig tonight. We did though, and right smart it was too. Picked up a gig with the local Harley Davidson contingent (they're all dentists and barristers by day y'know) in July. Details to follow when I've remembered them. 20/02/05Found a live version of Spon/Free from a couple of months ago so I've put it on the Lix page - 8.5Mb (again) but it's two tunes in one file so represents great value for the cheapskate on the cusp of their download limit. Private gig (no, not the pokey) somewhere sometime in June. 08/02/05Done gigs removed. New ones (ok, one) added. News page asks "where's Drew?". News page threatens to illuminate you. News page tells you nothing. Like always. Will you never learn? 03/02/05We're in (for) the Dog House this Saturday. See gig page. Some more links. 29/01/05Gig (more gigs!) and news (get it right, imbecile!) pages updated. 13/01/05Completed gigs removed. News page updated: Audioholics, Hollywood updates. 31/12/04There were 4 Hollywood gigs in 2005. Well, that was then... New year, new ideas. Sadly, Bob's decided not to continue with live bands in 2005, so we'll be the last live turn at The Hollywood on 07/01/05. This coincides with Railway Bob's (Aieee - too many Bobs!!!) birthday so let's whoop it up one last time! Hollywood Bob is genuinely a very nice man who's been a pleasure to gig for and the CTs wish him all the best. *FLASH * UPDATE * See news page for 13/01/05. On the plus front, Pete's shifts have changed next year meaning that we'll be available three weekends out of four (instead of two) and so opportunities to see everybody's fave beat/skiffle combo will be much increased in 2005. Better learn some more tunes. We'd wish you happy New Year but let's face it, we hardly know each other and it's no like you're our real mates or anything. 29/12/04Be very afraid........ PETER GALLAGHER HAS PASSED HIS DRIVING TEST TODAY!!!! Gigs in the slammer cancelled due to rioting. Not what you read every day (unless you're a Bike 'n' Hound regular). An assortment of CTs posters have been laid out for your delectation and abuse of your hard disk space. (Thinks:.... Must do something about the size of the images on the Pix pages....). Drew ("where's Drew?" on pix page) Dickson update on news page! 14/12/04First gig in 2005 changes dates! It's at The Thatched House and has moved from 2nd January to 3rd January. Christmas jape on the News page. Some real not-made-up-honest reviews too! Go right there and get right down. 10/12/04Added a new tune to the Tunes page out of guilt as I've done nothing to this for a couple of weeks. Grab it quick as it's too good to leave up there for long! Witton Chimes in Northwich (or is it Nantwich? I always get them mixed up. I think it's Northwich) gigs added plus two invitation-only gigs between Christmas and New Year. Lips are, apparently, still sealed, and tell the truth, I don't like to think what with. That's 19 gigs in the book for 2005 so far and, er, none this moth. (That's supposed to say "month", but "moth" is better). If you are Stu from Salford then The CTs say "Hi Stu from Salford. And
Jan and Al too!". They went to The Horse 12/11/04Fresh from last night's gig at The Romiley Arms. Great to see the massive throng assembled. Thanks to both of you for coming. Nah, it wasn't that bad - there must have been eight or nine watching at one point. Nice to see some old faces too (not yours Arnie).
