- At least £2 million from non-public sponsor
- DfES fund balance capital
- Recurrent costs funded directly by DfES:
- - at a level comparable to the funding of similar schools in the local authority area
- - takes account of the hold-back by the authority, for services for which the City Academy will be responsible
- - school receives the addition of a per pupil grant equivalent to specialist schools in the maintained sector,
- - ie. about 4-5% more than the normal standard per pupil funding allowance for maintained secondary schools – on top of the hold-back.
