The following is a letter sent to Mike Peters by Eileen Hogan, Chair of SSCIL.

Our breath is bated.

LETTER TO MICHAEL PETERS - DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION, LAMBETH COUNCIL

SSCIL held a very succesful public meeting last night at Bonneville school, a huge group of parents & carers turned out to hear information about the campaign so far and the proposed new school.

Many parents asked 'when is the consultation going to start?' and we were unable to tell them. When you attended the Clapham Public Forum on 17th January we were told that the consultation would start straight after that. However SSCIL have yet to be contacted by anyone in the Education Directorate re our participation in the reference group.

Lambeth's parents are desperate, we cannot afford to let this timetable slip further. Could you please contact myself or Devon Allison as soon as possible to set up a meeting.

best regards
