Bee tracking device

Long before the designs of Brown and Barry and the advent of the adverse range of leisure activities, bees have always had access to the site. Bees are still encouraged to use the site due to their pollination habits.

The solar powered bee tracking devices continuously emit positional information from each individual bee. The purpose of the devices is not to exploit but to celebrate our symbiotic relationship and the importance of each individual bee.

View through Looking glasses

The small device is situated on the top of each bee, solar radiation that falls on the device gets converted into coded radio waves the data is then processed into positional information and stored on the main network. Looking glasses interpolate the information to allow each user to view where the bee has been, the colour of the trail represents its age.
