Camera shutter release mechanism  
       
   

The remote camera shutter release project formed part of a minor A-level project.

  
The device was designed to trigger a camera at a long distance in order to take photographs of wildlife without disturbing the subject.
       
    Receiver box with universal camera attachment, tripod mounting arm with adjustable aluminium handle guides, transmitter.  
       
   

Receiver box component detail comprising of:

Radio receiver, aerial, battery pack, servo and arm mechanism, Shutter release cord, power switch and aluminium mounting bracket with 1/4" screw thread to suit most tripods.
