Multi purpose alarm  
       
   

The project was part of a GCSE microelectronics project.

 

The alarm uses a series of time delays to trigger a siren when the unit is bumped or knocked. The device could be used in a variety of situations: tent, car, bike etc

 

Internal view: PCB incorporating relays, RC and 555 time delays, siren, aluminium battery housing mechanism, battery, vibration sensor and key switch.

 
       
    External view: ABS plastic case, key switch and LED warning and status lights.
